It may not look like much of a ride, but it gets an average of 49.9 mpg over the last 1115,000 miles and I haven't once suffered the horror of road rash. Nor have I had to wear a helmet or pick the damn thing up. Maintenance over this period has consisted of oil changes, new tires, a new battery and a new windshield due to a stray stone.
Yeah, well... How many folks give you the high sign as you pass by???
